    Cameras at JM gigs.

Hi I was just wondering if people are being asked to add their JM gig photos to the site, can I assume that it's ok to take cameras to venues without them being taken away or entry refused?

    Hi

We have not had any problems .  Although we have seen people stopped for looking as if they are filming because their camera looks like an SLR or a bit bigger than a compact but as we all know from youtube, people film most songs on their phones anyway.

Hope you have a great time !

Hi thanks for responding. i'm still debating whether or not to take my camera at the moment as it's a bridge camera, halfway between a compact and an SLR! It has the equivalent of a 560mm lens! Mite risk it anyway, I'll be blowing bubbles if I don't and find out it would have been ok!!

    Hi,

I went to the Manchester Apollo gig on 31st Jan and my camera was taken off me. I have a DSLR with a 200mm lens attached. The security guy said they take all the ones with changeable lenses as these are most likely to be used for commercial purposes!!
